Crested Iris

Crested Iris

(Iris cristata) One of the dwarf woodland irises native to the southeastern US. It occurs from Ohio to Georgia and from Oklahoma to Pennsylvania.

I found this flower in the Chattahoochee National Forest near Helen, GA.

Thanks for looking.
